Raw, soulful, intimately moving, Is This Body Mine? the debut album from British Chilean singer-songwriter Naomi in Blue, is a striking journey into indie guitar-driven power, introspective folk, nueva canción and shades of Americana, all anchored in Naomi’s remarkable voice. Drawing onNick Cave’s declarative vocal projections as much as Jeff Buckley’sraging voice and haunting guitar, and Angel Olsen'sheart-worn lyricism,Is This Body Mine? is a much-anticipated first longform outing for one of London’s most exciting new talents.  

Following the release of 2021’s debut EP An Experiment and 2024’s follow-up It Takes Time, Naomi has honed the clarion call of her songwriting skill through headline shows at the historic 1000-cap el Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris and el Foro del Tejedor in Mexico City, a joint UK headline tour with acclaimed Chilean band Matorral and extensive shows at stalwart London pub stages the Troubadour, Moth Club and the Victoria.

Enlisting her tight-knit band including Matorral drummer Ítalo Arauz, guitaristAnnie Needhamand bassistCuco Errázuriz, Naomi and her quartet decamped to Wiltshire in late summer 2025 for a week-long residential recording session with producer Gus White (Maddie Ashman,Minna) and live-tracked the 11 journeying songs on the album. Moving seamlessly between finger-picked folk, explosive rock and singer-songwriting soul searching,Is This Body Mine? is a powerhouse record from a writer and musician plumbing her cross-cultural roots to create new music that tells enduring, emotive stories. It’s an album that confirms Naomi in Blue as a distinct and compelling new voice worth hearing time and time again.
